IP Handsets
IP handsets are different to Digital handsets in that they have a network interface and are designed to work on your existing computer networks structured cabling system. You will need to allow a LAN port on your network switch and POE (Power over Ethernet) if you don’t want a PSU (Power Adaptor) at the desk or wherever the phone is located

Digital Handsets
Digital handsets don’t have a network interface. They are a 2 wire device which means they can work on your existing structured cabling network or on the older separate telephone cabling.
